The Whaling City Clippers took another hard loss last night against the North Shore Generals. The Generals out played and out muscled the Clippers all night. The Offense, without the starting QB Tom Pereira, was led by a platoon of Desmond Jacintho, Tyler Wnnyguard and Wallace Miranda.

Week 2: Clippers @ Colonials

The Whaling City Clippers travel to Kelleher Field in Marlboro, MA tonight to face the Metro-West Colonials in Week 2 of the NEFL Eastern Division competition. Kickoff is at 7:00PM.

The Clippers are looking to advance to 2-0 after a 25-0 week 1 victory over the Coastal Chiefs.

2012 Cape Verdean Parade

The Whaling City Clippers were proud to be represented in the 40th Annual Cape Verdean Recognition Parade on Saturday, June 30, 2012.

Players and staff tossed candy to young and old along the parade route and gave high fives and handshakes to many in the crowd.

Clippers Recruiting for 2012

The Whaling City Clippers are openly recruiting for the 2012 season. We are seeking experienced players; with college or semi-pro experience, as well as recent high school graduates.

A sign-up meeting will be held on April 4, 2012 at 7:30 PM at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech HS.
